A four-star campsite is opening at the gateway to Bordeaux in June

“The soul of wine” exhibition at Musée d’Aquitaine – from June to October
Opening to coincide with the Vinexpo 2009 trade show, this exhibition will display over 300 objects on a surface area of 650 sq.m. From the amphora to the bottle, from the goblet to the bowl, the exhibition will explore the history of wine through that of its containers, and use a chronological presentation to show the links between technical breakthroughs, changes in shapes and aesthetic choices.

Bordeaux, a port of call for cruisers
This summer, more than 30,000 European, American and Japanese tourists will briefly stop in Bordeaux as part of their cruise tours to discover the streets and squares that were recently inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Twenty-five luxury cruisers will call in the Bordeaux region, including 15 - Crystal Symphony and Europa, to name just two - in downtown Bordeaux. Read more |

EVENTO 2009, an artistic and urban event in Bordeaux from 9 to 18 October
