A WELL KNOWN REPUTATION

Our region has always had a well known reputation in terms of wine, gastronomy and greediness.

Bordeaux takes pride in the imagination and creativity of its entreprises, which make in an artisanal way, products from the earth.

THE CANELE DE BORDEAUX

The canelé de Bordeaux is a fine and delicate sweet, which honours good meals.
It is baked in a small copper mould called « canelé » which gives it its name. Its appetizing colour « browned » and its fine caramelized crust, enclosing a soft and melting heart are the result of very special attention during the cooking.

THE BOUCHON DE BORDEAUX

It is a brilliant idea which gives birth to the bouchon de Bordeaux : a petit four of almond and semi-crystallized grapes flavoured with the Fine' of Bordeaux which shape imitates the real corks.
The speciality is presented in a double twist of paper.

THE MASCARON DE BORDEAUX

Architectural detail from Italian origin, the mascaron, « grotesque mask », appeared on Bordeaux's walls at the end of the XVIth century.
In the XVIIIth century, they proliferated thanks to the initiative of the Great Intendants who gave the elegance and the majesty that we still acknowledge today.
