The Médocaines* are pleased to welcome you for their blending visit at châteaux Paloumey and du Taillan,Crus Bourgeois in Haut-Médoc appellation.
The art of the winegrower consists in adapting the different grape varieties to the different soils in order to express their best potential. Then, the winemaker will craft the wine by blending several grape varieties in different proportions for maximum quality, finesse, balance and complexity. The wine’s characteristics also depend on the vintage.
1st château: blending visit, discovering the characteristics of the 2 main grape varieties: Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon, Tasting of one the estate’s wines.
2nd château: ageing visitdiscovering wines’ traditional ageing in oak barrels and tasting of one of the estate’s wines paired with a charcuterie plate 9.15 am: departure from the Bordeaux Tourist Office. 1.00 pm: back to Bordeaux.
Small group of 8 persons maximum, minimum 4 persons.
