If you have a day, or two, or three in Bordeaux…
Your stay 1st day: Bordeaux, World Heritage Site 2nd day: Bordeaux, Gateway to the Vineyards 3rd day: Bordeaux, City of Culture and Art de Vivre

Discover the heritage of the Bordeaux region
According to your fancy, your mood, and the length of your stay…

The choice is yours!

1st day: Bordeaux, World Heritage Site

Discover the city, a jewel of 18th century architecture…
There are several ways to get around: on foot, by coach, by tram, on the tourist train or in an open-top sightseeing bus. Or why not rent a bicycle… Unless you prefer the slow, poetic way, on board a boat.

2nd day: Bordeaux, Gateway to the Vineyards
Discover the bustling portside activity that reigned along the quais des Chartrons until the last century, between the banks of the Garonne and the opulent façades of the merchants’ homes. The rise of colonial trade together with the growth of the wine industry contributed to Bordeaux’s incredible expansion during the 18th century.

3rd day: Bordeaux, City of Culture and Art de Vivre
Follow in the footsteps of the great men of letters whose presence graced the city: Montaigne, the famous thinker and mayor of Bordeaux. Rediscover the works of François Mauriac by visiting his family domain at Malagar, for a wealth of inspiration. Visit the Château de la Brède where Montesquieu was born.
